Back to Africa

I am safely back in Zambia now after spending an unexpected night in lovely Johhanesberg (flight delays). When I got here I decided to get my head checked out to make sure my hair loss was not terminal. The medical staff confirmed my assumption that it was the malaria medication that was causing it. Just one of the many perks of being a Peace Corps volunteer in Africa. They loaded me up with sun screen and I have been cleared to go back to my site. Thanks to all of you who made it a memorable trip home. It means a lot to know that I have the support of so many great people in the States. You will all be happy to know that I just weighed myself and I gained 10 pounds while I was home! Job well done to all of you who were shoveling food down my throat.

It was great seeing you in LA a few weeks ago, Smyth. As always, it was way too brief. Good to hear your travels back to Africa was successful.

Best wishes out there...hope all of your hair grows back soon. :)

I hear that bald men are considered more powerful by women. Power = chicks that want to do you.
